Pay by 8th May or cancel. If not booked there will not be a place for you.
Lymington Harbour Office advised of our rally and will seek to allocate berths together where possible providing skippers make their provisional booking well in advance direct. Please advise them whether you seek finger pontoons or rafting berth on the Town Quay.
Dinner reservation made at King’s Head pub in the town with numbers to be confirmed nearer the date. No requirement for advance menu selection.
Can get booked up so best booked early.

Littlehampton pontoons booked for YOSC for two nights.
Stay for one or two nights.
Dinners at the Avon View Saturday and 39 Mussels row on Sunday. This may change.
Should be able to order food on the night.
Could be a visit by train to Arundel on Sunday if interested.
Look around Castle and grounds and lunch in Arundal.

2 Miles from the entrance to Beaulis River is Gins Farm
Royal Southamptons Yacht Club premises.
Due to tides should get 4 or 5 boats on the east side of the club walk ashore pontoons.
There are Buoys close by for others.
Dinner at Gins Farm Club House.
will need Menu selection in advance as this is a club venue.

As 1st July is a social evening at the YOSC club the rally will now start on Wednesday 3rd July.
Wednesday - Early start for sail to Cherbourg.
Thursday - In Cherbourg.
Friday - Late morning sail to Dielette.
Saturday - Afternoon sail to Carteret.
Sunday - In Carteret.
Monday - Morning sail to St Peter Port Guernsey.
Tuesday - In Guernsey.
Wednesday - Sail to Sark or Beaucette.
Thursday - In Sark or Beaucette.
Friday - Early sail to Alderney.
Saturday - In Alderney.
Sunday - Early start for sail to Studland Bay.
Monday 15th July - Sail to Home Ports.

The new EU ETEIS Online Entry/Exit system will now not be working untill 2024. Therefore Passport stamps in and out of France will be required.

Competitive or Fun sail round the IOW.
Joint event with the Guildford Cruising Club.
Just predict arrival time at places around the course. Points given for best accuracy.
Winners Cups presented at the Dinner. One for best overal points and one for best YOSC member.
Start off Bembridge, sail clockwise to Lymington. If weather unsuitable a shorter course anti-clockwise wil be decided.
Berthing on Dan Bran pontoon at Lymington with dinner and award presentations at Royal Lynington Sailing Club.

NOTE - Skippers will need to book their own berth direct with Lymington Harbour.

Marchwood club welcome us and we have the pontoons booked so plenty of room for all.
Dinner at the excelent Marchwood Club premises.
There may be an advanced payment of £5 each with dinner selection as this is a club venue and not a restaurant.
Neap tides this weekend will help boats from Portsmouth.
A very good visit last August and many requested to go again in 2024.

I will be leaving Gosport for Cowes on 31st and going from Cowes to Weymouth on 1st September. I have arranged with Weymouth Harbour for seven of us to be berthed together on 1st and 2nd September.

Jim Fayers has arranged for dinner in the Ship in Weymouth on 2nd September. Participants are free to do their own thing on the 3rd onwards. Some may want to go to Portland, stay in Weymouth or go home via Poole.

Weymouth are holding a rowing regatta over the weekend so there will be a lot of gigs around if you get there early on Sunday. Similarly, there will be a full size replica of a Spanish galleon, El Galeon, in the port and it will be open to the public.

Duver marina's high charges have put us off this popular destination but for October they have a 5% rally discount and a further 5% discount for booking on line (not sure where the previous figure of 25% came from).
Please make your bookings by 14th September. When you book on line, use the rally code YO510 to gain benefit of any rally discount and ensure a berth is available. They will group us appropriately and are also aware that some members might seek to extend their stay before or after.
Once skippers have registered, I will make direct contact regarding menu choices for our dinner at Brading Yacht Club
Some crews may like to have lunch at the ‘Best Dressed Crab’ on Sunday.
